2yrs ago I lost around 30,000$ in 8 months. I was addicted to Baccarat. I don’t earn too much. I have gotten up to 30k profit and kept going and lost all the money and more thinking I could earn it back or recover it.
Moral of the story, greed is a bitch and you can’t let it get to your head. If you are going to gamble you have to be mentally prepared to come into a casino and ask yourself what is the most I am ok losing with. Stick to it and don’t do it often
Hope you learn from my mistakes, It's not bad to gamble, what's bad is when you become an addicted to gambling

3Same I also lost my money. Probably over 12k or more. Stock market included. Probably more over the years. Just lost 7.5k in the past few months. Can’t believe it. I think as we can get so so bored and we gamble because we do want to win. We sometimes have self esteem problems but only end up feeling worse. I am just a basic worker on minimal wage and minimal hours. I wanted to win around 16k for Christmas. I felt like stupid. Why did I bet that much. I thought I could win. I bought my 2 year old a teddy bear. But I still feel like stupid.. I got around 11k in savings.Elsa670 wrote: Wed Sep 27, 2023 5:50 pm 2yrs ago I lost around 30,000$ in 8 months. 4Around 30k in 8 months. I was addicted to Baccarat and still might be. I don’t earn too much and actually owe 10k in credit card debt from those bets. 2 separate occasions I have gotten up to 30k profit and kept going and lost all the money and more thinking I could earn it back. I would always go back because they gave me VIP access and payed me 2k every couple months to play.
Moral of the story, greed is not a good influence and you can’t let it get to your head. If you are going to gamble you have to be mentally prepared to come into a casino or online and put a limit on your spending. Ask yourself what is the most I am ok losing with. Stick to it and don’t do it often
They are not your friend long-term. Hope you learn from my mistakes.

Re: What is the maximum amount you have lost on gambling?
5Once, I am ventured into a casino with high hopes. Sadly, luck wasn't on my side, and I lost $5,000 in a single night. It was a harsh lesson in the unpredictability of gambling. This experience motivated me to adopt responsible gaming habits and set strict limits on his future gambling endeavors. So I start to make a budget every session that I will spend in casino. I believe that responsible gambling promotes enjoyment while minimizing the potential harm associated with excessive gamblingElsa670 wrote: Wed Sep 27, 2023 5:50 pm 2yrs ago I lost around 30,000$ in 8 months. 6Maybe around €100k-125k in the last 4 years and around €25k-50k in the 10 years before that. I don't keep track, it wouldn't surprise me if it was even much more than that. My typical betting weekend would look like this: "I'm just gonna deposit 300 into my sports betting account and turn it into 10k with which I will buy a new motorbike. Oh, I lost the 300? Let's try that again. And again. Well, I guess now I need to deposit 1000 to get my losses back and win an additional 10k. I'm currently only on day 4 of the long road ahead of me.
