1906

The oldest casino in Las Vegas, the Golden Gate Casino, is opened. Originally named Hotel Nevada, the property also offered casino games and charged a single dollar for the room. Many famous individuals, including Frank Sinatra, frequently visited the spot. The casino is still operating today, offering a possibility to be accommodated in one of the few original rooms dating all the way back to the 1900s.
