There are different types of roulette.

Here is some casino trivia you may not know—there are actually two different types of roulette: American and European.

The main difference between the two is the set of numbers on the wheel. European Roulette has 37 numbers: 18 red, 18 black, and a single green zero. American Roulette, on the other hand, has 38 numbers and a single and double zero.

Even though it seems like an insignificant distinction, the double zero in the American version of the game significantly decreases one’s chances of winning.
