Betting on college grades: game of skill or gambling?
The company is claiming that due to college grades being a matter of hard work (i.e. skill) then they should be legally allowed to do it.

2If I understood the rules well, they're actually stimulating people to learn and get better grades?
Oh, I'd definitely give it a shot. I actually wish there were any such incentives back when I was a student - I bet my average grade would now be significantly higher.
I really think they should legalize it. I mean, if this isn't a good cause in gambling, what is?

3The thing is the company obviously thinks they will make money out of this, so they either think students will overestimate their own ability or they will well and truly underpay the odds.Spartan88 wrote: Tue Sep 19, 2023 3:15 am If I understood the rules well, they're actually stimulating people to learn and get better grades?
