Re: Understanding the Casino Dealer's Role

2
Hello,

That can go both ways this is based on my experienced....

On one hand the dealers can make more money if the players win (tips) and also the friendlier dealers honestly do like seeing people win and have a good time.

However, when a dealer is dumping a lot on a game and starts getting heat from the pit they can feel it and in those circumstances are mostly wanting the house to win. Not always, this is just a generalization.

Also, if its getting towards the point where the dealer(s) can go home after their game breaks up and if they are tired and want to leave, believe me they are rooting for the players to tap out and leave.

One last thing….If someone is degrading, rude etc., the dealers take great joy in wiping them out!

There are a lot of great people who deal and most are friendly, pleasant and deserve to be treated with the utmost in respect. If you treat them well and tip appropriately they will treat you like gold.

Hi! In my opinion, dealer(s) conduct games in casino, they deal cards, they also handle a large amount of money. So, if you were asking "how casino dealers make money?" I think its because of the tip from the customer/ player or from the casino company their working at.

Hi, I have a lot of friend working as Casino Dealer and based on them they are paid a salary or hourly wage by the casino, and their income does not depend on whether players win or lose. Their role is to facilitate the games, ensure fair play, and maintain the rules and procedures of the casino..
