Base on my own opinion gambling can stimulate the brain's reward system much like drugs or alcohol can, leading to addiction. If you have a problem with compulsive gambling, you may continually chase bets that lead to losses, use up savings and create debt. You may hide your behavior and even turn to theft or fraud to support your addiction.

Psychological Factors: Gambling addiction often involves a psychological dependence on the activity. The thrill and excitement of gambling can create a pleasurable experience, leading to a release of dopamine in the brain. This dopamine rush reinforces the behavior and makes it difficult to resist the urge to gamble. It's important for individuals struggling with gambling addiction to seek help from professionals trained in addiction treatment. Support groups, therapy, and counseling can provide the necessary tools and support to overcome the addiction and regain control over one's life.

Hi! For some people, this problem is just an added issue of their already financial burden and stress, when a person is grappling with money issues.
such people start borrowing money or taking loans from lenders whom they then fail to repay because of inability to work in order to recover the lost funds.
Gambling becomes difficult to break because of the need to recover money lost or just to get rid of the financial strain. but yes! breaking free from gambling addiction is undeniably challenging but it is a journey worth taking! :)
