SOMETIMES I CONFUSE MYSELF.

1
Say you are looking for a one time coin flip to double your bankroll. I'm pretty sure I've read on here to go with the bet with the lowest house edge. something i noticed is if betting banker is in baccarat there is a 9.51% tie. in roulette there is a 5.88% chance of a green number coming up. shouldn't an even money bet in roulette be a better bet.

what am i missing here?

You don't lose when the tie comes up in Baccarat, its a push for all banker and player bets.

In my opinion, the choice between roulette and baccarat for a one-time coin flip depends on personal risk tolerance. While house edge is a factor, the specific dynamics of each game and the potential outcomes should be considered. Personally, I might lean towards roulette if the even-money bet aligns with my risk preferences and understanding of the game's probabilities.

What you are missing here is that you may not have been aware that the green number (0 or 00) in roulette doesn't ensure a win with even money. Nevertheless, if you're interested in a one-time double-up opportunity with better odds and simplicity, the banker bet in Baccarat is an excellent choice. It offers a lower house edge and a higher likelihood of success.

When deciding to double your bankroll through a single coin flip, it's wise to select the bet with the lowest house edge. Although the banker bet in baccarat usually has a lower house edge compared to the even-money bets in roulette, it's important to remember that the outcomes of each flip are unpredictable.

Considering a one-time coin flip to double your bankroll, it's crucial to recognize the difference between casino games. While the tie in baccarat and the green number in roulette both have low probabilities, the house edge varies. Analyzing odds and house edges helps make an informed decision.

If I had to flip a coin once to double my bankroll, I would prefer placing an even-money bet in roulette rather than betting on the banker in baccarat. The roulette option has a lower house edge, making it a more advantageous choice.

You're onto something! In this scenario, opting for an even-money bet in roulette, with a 5.88% chance of a green number, might offer a slightly better chance than the 9.51% tie bet in baccarat. Considering house edge for a one-time double can be strategic.

Got it! Okay, in simple terms: In roulette, that green number helps the casino, so sticking to even-money bets isn't the best move. Now, in baccarat, going for the banker is smarter because it gives the casino less of an edge overall. So, for your one-time coin flip to double your money, picking the banker in baccarat seems like the better bet.

Definitely! In Baccarat, if there's a tie, it results in a draw for both the banker and player bets. There are no winners or losers, just a stalemate. You're absolutely right about this rule!
